Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $520,000 annually

Shift: Days Traditional Monday-Friday clinic schedule + On Call

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Gastroenterologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Practice gastroenterology on one hospital campus with a blend of outpatient office, endoscopy, and inpatient coverage
• Provide consultative hospital services to patients
• Deliver quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment
• Utilize EMR - EPIC system for patient documentation
• Work with dedicated APP support team
• Take call at a 1:4 ratio, including some weekends
• Serve established referral base within medical group, ACO and community partners
• Perform endoscopic procedures and advanced endoscopy when applicable
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Maintain Ohio medical license
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Participate in continuing medical education activities
• Collaborate with onsite lab and x-ray services for patient care

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Gastroenterologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
