Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Neonatologist team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 patients and ~1,400 admissions annually
- Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, Obstetric Hospitalists, and a wide array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists including a renowned pediatric cardiovascular program
- Participate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy, palliative care, telemedicine, and a specialized Small Baby Unit
- Engage actively in the NICU's continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs to ensure the highest standards of care
- Contribute to and benefit from an academic environment with integrated residency and fellowship programs

- Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Obtain and maintain California Medical License
- Maintain clean malpractice and medical license history
- Obtain DEA registration prior to start
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Neonatologist experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
