Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Oncologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide hematology and oncology physician services across multiple clinic locations • Deliver patient care at clinics in Davenport, IA and Silvis, IL • Conduct inpatient consultations primarily at medical center facilities • Participate in shared call coverage responsibilities • Maintain active Iowa and Illinois medical licenses • Maintain DEA certification and controlled substance registration • Achieve and maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology within required timeframes • Achieve and maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Medical Oncology within required timeframes • Collaborate with team of oncologists and nurse practitioners in community-based hospital program • Utilize leading technology and collaborative services for radiation oncology, genetic testing, and clinical trials • Provide infusion therapy services and resources • Work autonomously to build desired practice within employed medical group structure • Participate in cohesive team environment while maintaining clinical independence • Collaborate with hospitalist team for inpatient support • Maintain clean malpractice history and comply with supervision-free practice requirements • Participate in continuing medical education activities and professional development

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Oncologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
