Job Summary
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a physician faculty member to teach students and residents of the Orthopaedic Spine Surgery Service as well as to provide care for the patients on this service.
The physician faculty will supervise medical students assigned to the Orthopaedic Surgical Service, as well as supervise and educate residents in the care of patients with Orthopaedic-related diagnoses. The position will also be responsible for establishing protocols and critically evaluating outcomes as related to Orthopaedic Spine patients, and will serve on applicable University and College of Medicine committees as assigned.
The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated ability in clinical teaching, as well as the ability to share responsibility for administration of the spine program. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
