We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pulmonary services as well as critical care management in the intensive care unit (ICU). This role combines expertise in diagnosing and treating pulmonary disorders with delivering advanced critical care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Opportunity Details:
- Provide evidence-based care for patients with pulmonary diseases, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Perform and interpret pulmonary diagnostic procedures, including bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, thoracentesis, and pulmonary function testing.
- Deliver critical care management for ICU patients, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU teams (nursing, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and case management) to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide consultation services to hospital staff, referring physicians, and patients.
- Participate in shared call coverage for pulmonary and critical care services.
- Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and patient safety efforts.
- Support and contribute to resident, fellow, or medical student education (if applicable).
- Participate in hospital committees, program development, and community outreach as needed.
Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.

Board certified or board eligible in pulmonary disease and Critical Care Medicine.

Completion of a fellowship in Pulmonology and Critical Care.
