Job Summary
The Physician Recruiter plays a key role in supporting company growth by supporting the Director of Provider Recruitment (Ardent) in the talent acquisition of physicians and advanced practice practitioners throughout the country. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment implementing successful talent acquisition in collaboration with business leaders. The Recruiter plays a role as an individual contributor in recruitment.
This position works closely with Physician Practice Group partnering across the UT Tyler Health Science Center (UTHSC), UT Tyler School of Medicine (UT SOM), and UT Health East Texas (UTHET). This position is expected to understand, interpret, and apply appropriate policy and procedures while following all applicable regulations.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code Section 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.

Clinical Position Requirements
Clinical positions require pre-screening through our Occupational Health department, including a drug test. Employees are required to obtain annual influenza vaccines.
