Location: Northern New Jersey (Travel Required)

Compensation:

• $35–$40/hour (20 hrs per week)
• $500 after the first 5 completed cases.
• 2% of net collections from that surgeon for the first 12 months, capped at $5,000 per surgeon.

NJ First Assist is a rapidly growing surgical staffing company providing experienced Physician Assistants and first-assist professionals to surgeons and healthcare facilities throughout New Jersey.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven professional to help expand our network of surgeons, surgical practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.

Position Summary

This is not a cold-call sales position.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building long-term professional relationships within the healthcare community.

The ideal candidate is comfortable walking into physician offices, introducing our services, networking with practice managers, and creating opportunities for our leadership team to establish new surgeon partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with surgeons, physician practices, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers.
• Schedule and conduct in-person visits with surgeons and office managers.
• Identify practices that could benefit from first-assist services.
• Represent NJ First Assist professionally throughout Northern New Jersey.
• Attend healthcare networking events and local medical meetings.
• Maintain a CRM with all contacts, meetings, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate meetings between interested surgeons and company leadership.
• Develop referral relationships with medical device representatives, physician recruiters, and healthcare administrators.
• Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Self-motivated and highly organized.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Northern New Jersey.
• Experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, medical staffing, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or healthcare recruiting is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Starting compensation includes:

• $35–$40/hour
• $500 after the first 5 completed cases.
