Physician/Program Director - Bone Marrow Translplant

JOB SUMMARY

The Director – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program / Physician is responsible for the delivery of a high-quality evidence-based and innovative clinical service. The Director – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program /Physician identifies and articulates the vision, strategic direction, and growth of the Program and develops implementation strategies to achieve them. The postholder will have specialist knowledge in pediatric Hematology and/or Oncology and/or Immunology and innovative cell and gene therapy treatments.

The post holder participates and leads in divisional and interdisciplinary meetings, as required. The Director BMT Program will carry out relevant clinically focused translational innovation to improve the work of the Program, to improve existing treatment plans and/or develop/test novel and experimental treatments.
