Physics Scientific Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Physics Scientific Assistant to support ongoing research, experimentation, data analysis, and prototype development in applied physics and engineering projects. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, experimental setup design, scientific documentation, and computational analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, setup, and operation of experimental physics systems
• Support research activities related to plasma physics, energy systems, material science, or applied physics
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data
• Assist in simulation and modeling using tools such as MATLAB, Python, COMSOL, or similar software
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and safety protocols
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and research summaries
• Support prototype development, testing, and optimization
• Assist senior scientists and engineers in R&D activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics or related field
• Strong understanding of core physics concepts (electromagnetism, thermodynamics, plasma, or solid-state physics)
• Basic experience with laboratory instruments and experimental procedures
• Familiarity with data analysis and scientific computing
• Good documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in plasma systems, vacuum technology, gas handling systems, or power electronics.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
