Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging lesson plans for Physics topics, aligned with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IB, etc.).
- Simplify complex concepts using innovative teaching methods and practical demonstrations.
- Organize and supervise hands-on laboratory experiments, strictly enforcing safety protocols.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing individual support as needed.
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on curriculum development and school activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with advancements in physics education.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Physics (or Applied Physics, Electronics, Nuclear Physics) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or an equivalent teaching degree from a recognized university is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is preferred.
- Subject Expertise: Strong understanding of core physics principles (mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, quantum physics) and ability to explain them clearly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Teaching Ability: Patience, adaptability, and an enthusiastic approach to teaching and motivating students.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of computer applications and ability to integrate educational technology into lessons.
