Physics Teacher

Job Summary:

The Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in physics, ensuring students understand fundamental and advanced concepts in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (AKU-EB / Sindh Board). The role includes teaching theoretical knowledge, conducting practical experiments, and promoting analytical and problem-solving skills among students. The teacher may be assigned to different classes or sections as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver physics lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
  • Teach core topics such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations while ensuring safety procedures.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical activities.
  • Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and practical work.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide extra support to weak students when required.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and academic activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related field.
  • B.Ed. / M.Ed. (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at secondary or higher secondary level.
  • Experience with AKU-EB or Sindh Board curriculum is preferred.
