Physics Teacher (Grades 9–10)

The ORCHID School is looking for a qualified, passionate, and experienced Part-Time Physics Teacher for Grades 9–10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, concept-based lessons that help students build analytical and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physics or a relevant field
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in the Cambridge System (preferred)
• Strong command of Physics concepts for secondary grades
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to explain concepts in an engaging and student-friendly manner
• Strong lesson planning and assessment skills
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physics to Grades 9–10 students
• Plan and deliver effective, concept-oriented lessons
• Prepare worksheets, assessments, quizzes, and practical activities
• Monitor student performance and maintain academic records
• Support students in conceptual understanding and exam preparation
• Create a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment
• Coordinate with parents and school management regarding student progress
• Participate in academic meetings and school activities when required
