Physics Teacherfor Grade 8 & 9

Job Summary

The Physics Teacher for Grades 8 and 9 is responsible for delivering engaging and effective physics instruction aligned with the curriculum, fostering scientific curiosity, and developing students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and practical application of physics principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver physics lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum for Grades 8 and 9
• Explain physics concepts clearly using age-appropriate teaching methods and real-world examples
• Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations while ensuring safety standards
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments
• Evaluate and grade students’ classwork, homework, tests, and projects
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents
• Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and scientific reasoning
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Integrate technology and visual aids to enhance learning
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school activities
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to curriculum planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• B.Ed. or relevant teaching certification
• Prior experience teaching middle school (Grades 8 & 9) is an advantage

• Strong subject knowledge in physics fundamentals
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols
• Basic proficiency in educational technology and digital tools
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
