Piano Teacher

The Piano/Keyboard Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in alignment with CBSE’s co-scholastic framework. The teacher will nurture students' musical skills, prepare them for performances, and foster an appreciation for music across genres.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
• Plan and conduct engaging piano/keyboard lessons for primary and secondary school students.
• Follow and adapt CBSE music curriculum guidelines.
• Teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques.
• Customize lessons for students with varied skill levels, including beginners and advanced learners.
• Student Development
• Identify and nurture musical talent through regular assessments and feedback.
• Prepare students for intra/inter-school competitions, annual day programs, and board-prescribed activities.
• Program & Resource Management
• Maintain and care for musical instruments and school-provided equipment.
• Maintain student records, track progress, and contribute to report card inputs.
• Co-curricular Involvement
• Collaborate in organizing school concerts, assemblies, and cultural events.
• Accompany school choir or vocal groups as needed.
• Professional Contribution
• Participate in departmental planning meetings and teacher training programs.
• Stay updated on contemporary teaching methods and music trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or equivalent diploma in Piano/Keyboard from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school or music academy preferred.
• Proficiency in Western and/or Indian classical/film/contemporary styles.
• Ability to integrate technology into music instruction (e.g., music composition software, recording tools).
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Certification from reputed institutions like Trinity College London, ABRSM, or equivalent is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
