Piling Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Piling Site Engineer with strong technical and site execution expertise in piling works. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in various piling techniques, excavation support systems, and pile load testing in compliance with UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and execute piling works including:

• Bored cast-in-situ piles (rotary, CFA, cased/un-cased).
• Driven piles (precast concrete, steel, sheet piles).
• Micro piles / mini piles.

2. Oversee shoring and excavation support systems such as:

• Secant pile walls.
• Contiguous pile walls.
• Soldier pile & lagging systems.
• Sheet piling systems.
• Anchored / strut-supported shoring systems.

3. Plan and supervise pile load tests, including:

• Static load tests (compression, tension, lateral).
• Dynamic pile load testing (PDA).
• Integrity testing (PIT/CSL).

4. Review and interpret project drawings, design calculations, and geotechnical reports.

5. Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, DM/ADM regulations, and international standards.

6. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and clients for smooth project execution.

7. Monitor site productivity, prepare daily/weekly reports, and track project progress.

8. Ensure site safety, quality control, and environmental compliance.

Requirements:

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or higher.

2. Working Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in piling works.

3. Skills:

• Strong practical knowledge of various piling methods, shoring systems, and pile testing techniques.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM), Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), and international codes (BS, ACI, ASTM, EN).

4. Languages:

• The working language is English. Fluency in English is required.

5. Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
