Sous Chef (PINOY Speaking) – Catering Experience

Location: Doha / Mesaieed, Qatar

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef (PINOY speaking) with strong catering or large-scale food production experience to support kitchen operations in Doha. The candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, ensuring food quality, hygiene standards, and efficient meal production for catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during food preparation.
  • Prepare and cook meals according to catering menus and client requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing for ingredients.
  • Control food cost and minimize wastage.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff when necessary.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Sous Chef or Senior Cook in Catering / Hotel / Industrial Kitchen.
  • Experience handling large-volume meal production.
  • Knowledge of international cuisine and catering operations.
  • Familiar with food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a team.
  • Currently in Qatar or willing to relocate.
