Pipe Fabricator

Job Summary:

The Pipe Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling pipes according to engineering specifications, drawings, and safety standards. The role requires precision, technical knowledge of piping systems, and the ability to work with various materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Cut, bend, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Perform welding, threading, and fitting of pipes as required.
• Ensure all fabricated pipes meet quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect and test finished piping systems for leaks, alignment, and integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other team members to complete projects on time.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fabricator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding and fitting techniques (TIG, MIG, ARC welding preferred).
• Ability to work with different types of metals and piping materials.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in fabrication.
• Certification in pipe fabrication or welding is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum [X] years of experience in pipe fabrication, construction, or industrial projects.

Work Environment:

• Work may involve exposure to heavy machinery, high temperatures, and outdoor conditions.
