Pipe fabricator

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret piping isometric drawings and fabrication sketches.
• Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and fit pipes according to specifications.
• Perform pipe fabrication activities using hand tools and fabrication machines.
• Prepare pipe spools, fittings, flanges, elbows, reducers, and supports.
• Align and assemble piping components before welding.
• Ensure correct dimensions, angles, and tolerances during fabrication.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, cutting machines, and beveling machines.
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC teams during fabrication activities.
• Maintain workplace safety and follow company HSE procedures.
• Inspect fabricated materials for quality and accuracy before installation.

Requirements:

• Must have minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fabricator in Oil & Gas, EPC, shutdown, maintenance, or industrial projects.
• Ability to read piping isometric drawings and GA drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe fittings, fabrication techniques, and measurement tools.
• Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials.
• Familiarity with fabrication standards and safety procedures.
• Gulf/Qatar experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical/Vocational certification in fabrication or mechanical trade.
• Experience in shutdown and maintenance projects is an advantage.

Pay: QAR12.00 - QAR14.00 per hour
