Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Pipe Layers/Ditch Guys to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for laying pipes, digging trenches, and assisting with various aspects of pipeline installation and utility work. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipeline installation using heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and backhoes
• Lay and align pipes accurately according to blueprints and project specifications using pipe lasers and other precision tools
• Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, forklifts, front loader trucks, and backhoes safely and efficiently
• Perform concrete finishing tasks related to pipeline supports or trench backfilling as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and utility locating maps to ensure precise installation
• Assist with welding, concrete forming, plumbing connections, and other related tasks to support pipeline systems
• Maintain safety standards on-site by following protocols for heavy equipment operation, utility locating, and site cleanup

Experience

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on pipeline or utility installation
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, forklifts, and front loader trucks
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and the use of pipe lasers for accurate alignment
• Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques and welding processes related to construction work
• Ability to perform utility locating to identify underground services before excavation
• Prior experience in oil & gas or infrastructure projects is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols
