Job Summary

Duties

• Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Learn and perform pipe threading, tube bending, and assembly using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Support welding activities including MIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and <LOCATION> welding techniques under supervision.
• Participate in fire sprinkler fitting, plumbing, HVAC installation, and pipeline setup following ASME codes & standards.
• Help with rigging, pipe fitting, soldering, and maintenance tasks on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise cuts and fittings according to project requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, construction site operations, and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn pipefitting techniques.
• Willingness to develop skills in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Prior construction site or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a strong safety mindset is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors or in industrial environments with physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights if necessary.
