Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves designing onshore and offshore pipeline systems for oil & gas and petrochemical projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards. This position offers a hybrid work model with flexibility to work remotely while attending key site visits and meetings near Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and review pipeline route layouts, alignment sheets, and associated drawings.

· Perform hydraulic calculations, pipeline sizing, and wall thickness calculations.

· Prepare material specifications, data sheets, and Material Take-Off (MTO) for pipeline projects.

· Ensure compliance with international codes and standards such as ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API, and ISO.

· Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

· Support FEED and detailed engineering design activities.

· Perform stress analysis and collaborate with stress engineers for complex systems.

· Provide technical support during procurement, construction, hydrotesting, and commissioning phases.

· Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and risk assessments to ensure safety and operability.

· Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve design-related issues.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· 3–8 years of experience in pipeline design for oil & gas projects.

· Proficiency in pipeline design software such as CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, or equivalent.

· Strong knowledge of international pipeline codes and standards.

· Experience in preparing and reviewing pipeline drawings and documentation.

· Good understanding of safety and environmental considerations in pipeline projects.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
