- Detailed knowledge and proven application in all general pipeline design / layout aspects.
- Must be conversant in materials of construction, insulation, installed instruments commonly used.
- Thorough understanding of common equipment and capable of routing pipeline in accordance with P&IDs and project standards, including the impact of specific service conditions on pipeline design (e.g., vibration, two-phase slug flow).
- Skilled in pipeline routing using AutoCAD and basic understanding of material. stress analysis concepts and of applicable codes and standards.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Gained engineering experience in the Well Heads/Flowline/Pipeline working in a project environment.
- Project experience of working in a variety of projects including grassroots, brownfield and revamp types.
- Sound knowledge of pipeline routings and development aspects and phases of plot plans including understanding of other pipeline design skills such as stress analysis, specifications etc.
- Experienced in using intelligent CAD systems, analysis software, various design codes and standards as applicable for various types of projects
- Working experience in GIS is an added advantage
