Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Pipeline).
5–8 years of experience in pipeline engineering, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Industrial Gases sector.
Proven experience navigating common corridor regulations preferably in Qatar (on site, Ras Laffan and Messaied)
This position combines Project Engineering for asset reliability and enhancements with Interface Coordination to protect assets from third-party construction within common utility corridors at our sites.
Direct experience in Crossing Engineering (calculating stress/impact of third-party crossings).
Strong knowledge in pipeline construction and commissioning.
Familiarity with Synergi Pipeline or similar hydraulic modeling tools to assess the impact of enhancements on delivery metering stations.
Ability to utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) or Google Earth Pro integrated with CAD to track the pipeline route and neighboring asset boundaries
Good project management skills.
Proficiency in pipeline design codes (API, ASME B31.3, B31.8) and IGC/EIGA Standards.
Competency in AutoCAD.
Competency in risk assessment methodologies.
Familiarity with Qatar Energy (QE) Pipeline procedures and standards.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or NACE (CP Level 1) is a strong plus.
Deep understanding of applicable HSE&Q standards, mandatory regulations, concepts, trends.
