We are looking for an experienced Piping Design Engineer – In char ge to manage and coordinate piping design activities within our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of piping design packages, Piping Material take offs, Piping Bill of quantities in compliance with project specifications of Client ITB, codes, and Standards requirements for both new and existing projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of piping design scope within assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and manage preparation of piping design deliverables such as:
  • Piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Piping material specifications, line lists, and equipment nozzle lists.
  • Piping MTOs, Piping BOQs
  • Stress analysis inputs and coordination with the stress team.
  • 3D Model Review
  • Review and verify piping design documents prepared by junior engineers and draftsmen.
  • Ensure piping designs comply with relevant standards and codes (ASME B31.3, API, ANSI, etc.).
  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and other disciplines for integrated design.
  • Coordinate with proposal managers and team for quotations review, pricing, technical Bid evaluations, queries response for timely submission of proposal.
  • Prepare and review material take-offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities.
  • Interface with clients, vendors, and construction teams to resolve design queries.
  • Support site activities as required during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Assist in the evaluation of vendor drawings and technical bid documents.
  • Maintain quality assurance and control during the design process.
  • Mentor and guide junior piping engineers and support staff.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of piping design experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, SP3D, PDMS, and CAESAR II.
