Job Responsibilities

Acting as a Piping Stress lead for the project.

Developing project philosophy and design basis for piping stress.

Managing vendor and subcontracted engineering company engineering tasks in his domain of expertise

Preparing technical requisition and participating in vendor proposal technical evaluation.

Performing static analysis using CAESAR II for the all load cases.
-
Providing effective stress solution for the critical piping.
-
Selection of spring hangers, expansion joints and special supports.
-
Preparing data sheets, technical requisition and technical specification, as well as perform technical bid analysis for them.

Vendor drawing review to ensure all the piping loads are within the recommended limit stress check on the IFC isometrics / pipe supports.

Preparing/Review of stress isometrics and stress reports.

Leading and assist junior piping stress engineers when developing engineering deliverables.

Reviewing, commenting and approving the outsourced piping stress engineering design deliverables. Ensure most updated vendors’ documentation is being used for developing these deliverables.

Providing inputs to other disciplines during project execution.

Participating in engineering and client meetings as required. Ability and willingness to travel, as required to full-fill project and business needs.

Experience in AIV/ FIV screening studies as required.

Experience in isometrics checking, review of the critical isometrics and ensure all the supports as per stress recommendations are implemented in model and reflected int he isometrics. And ensure all non-critical isometrics are adequately supported as per pipe support standards.

Providing support to processing facilities as required by Operations on engineering/technical matters.
Work Experience
Academic Qualifications

Proficient in English (speaking and writing)

Diploma: Masters
-
Minimum 8-10 years of experience

Experience in oil and gas industry and EPC background
Skills Required
-
Prior work experience as stress engineer in Production Facility, Onshore, Offshore & FPSO Modules, Management of Construction suppliers, Site Engineering support for Precommissioning, Commissioning activities
-
Facilities Engineering and Construction, with strong Engineering background.

Familiar with International standards such as ANSI / ASME /API standard for Piping Stress Knowledge
-
Has sufficient work experience and knowledge in Piping layout / Design/ Stress Analysis, Pipe support/Caesar II
-
Experience on the stress design basis / philosophy for all load cases, specification, standards and guidelines for stress engineering execution.

Experience on stress critical line list. Planning, scheduling and progress control for the critical computer stress calculations and visual reviews.
This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in three days a week.
