Piping Engineer

• Studying and understanding blueprints of designs prepared by planners and supervising installation works
• Planning and preparing schedule for finishing work within deadlines
• Ensuring efficiency of the piping system
• Allocating responsibilities to workers
• Ensuring that the job progresses as per schedule
• Showing good leadership skills while in the field
• Meeting with planners, architects and planners in order to discuss plans and clarify installation process
• Travel to the place of work; may also have to out up residence in the respective location if the project is large
• Implementing and ensuring safety measures in the place of work
• Prepare estimates of the piping work
• Document various stages of development of the project
• May have to make regular presentations regarding the progress of work
• May have to train junior engineers
