PIPING FOREMAN

Piping Foreman


    RESPONSABILITIES: Supervise and coordinate pipefitters, welders, riggers, and helpers engaged in the fabrication, installation, modification, and repair of marine vessel piping systems.
    Plan daily work activities, allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to meet project schedules and production targets.
    Interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and piping layouts to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
    Ensure piping systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, class society requirements, and applicable international standards.
    Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Production, Mechanical, and Commissioning teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
    Monitor fit-up, welding, alignment, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and reinstatement activities to ensure quality workmanship.
    Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure safe lifting, rigging, confined space, and hot work practices at site.
    Inspect work progress, identify defects or deviations, and implement corrective actions to achieve first-time quality.
    Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, material utilization, and ensure timely completion of assigned work packages.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the piping workforce while promoting productivity, housekeeping, and continuous improvement throughout marine construction activities

QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma/Industrial training

5 Years relevant experience.
