- Location: Qatar.
- Duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 56/28 days on/off.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Proven experience in piping and layout engineering for industrial, energy, or offshore projects.
- Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Piping, or related Engineering discipline.
- Previous exposure to offshore projects and site/field engineering activities.
- Knowledge of piping design principles, layout development, and engineering deliverables.
- Ability to review technical documents, drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Familiarity with 3D modelling reviews, design checks, and engineering document control.
- Understanding of project execution processes, quality standards, and HSE expectations.
- Ability to support cost estimation, material evaluations, and technical proposal activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Ability to identify technical risks and communicate issues clearly to project leadership.
Tasks:
- Carry out piping and layout engineering activities assigned by the discipline lead.
- Support studies, design development, and technical evaluations throughout project phases.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, tender preparation, and project proposals.
- Assist with the preparation of material quantities, layout concepts, and engineering estimates.
- Develop and maintain piping design philosophies, engineering guidelines, and project methodologies.
- Review and verify engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and vendor information.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Monitor discipline progress, resources, deliverables, and engineering priorities.
- Participate in design reviews, model checks, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Provide engineering assistance to procurement, construction, and subcontracting teams.
- Support preparation and evaluation of technical requisitions and supplier documentation.
- Identify potential schedule, technical, or cost impacts and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Capture project experience and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide construction-phase engineering support, including field queries and design adjustments.
- Assist with piping inspections, test package verification, and site material control activities.
