Piping Supervisor

Location: Abu Dhabi

Reports To: Construction Manager / Project Manager

Job Purpose:

The Piping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all piping activities on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. This role involves direct supervision of piping teams, monitoring progress, and coordinating with project management to meet project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day piping construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor productivity and quality of piping installation, fabrication, and welding.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations (HSE).
• Coordinate with project engineers, planners, and other disciplines for smooth workflow.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or obstacles during construction.
• Maintain daily reports, progress records, and manpower utilization.
• Mentor and guide piping crew, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Assist in planning material and manpower requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/civil/industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Piping Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding, fabrication, and installation practices.
• Understanding of project management, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EPC projects in oil and gas.
• Knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and engineering drawings

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
