JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for developing relationships with companies, industries and other relevant stakeholders to identify and create placement and OJT opportunities for the students trained at Hunar Foundation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning campus hiring events like job fairs to give student’s exposure to potential jobs and help local companies find suitable candidates.
- Responsible to develop and maintain the linkages with target industries to ensure the timely OJT and Placement of graduating students.
- Responsible to get MoC(s) and contracts signed with industries till placement of students.
- Responsible to track & implement the deliverable/activities of each project w.r.t to contract (like industrial visit/PTM/Job Fair/Open house etc.).
- Update data of all current students and graduates
- Organize and hold alumni sessions and build up an alumni network
- Industrial liaison with regards to placements for graduates. Find placement opportunities for students near their localities
- Update all potential and current employers’ data and keep them engaged
- Arrange quarterly/ bi-annual industrial visits for student
- Develop a strong network with industries, companies and other relevant stakeholders to create placement opportunities for the students.
- Identify the placement needs and requirements of the employers and bridge the gap between the employers and the students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to ensure successful placement of students.
- Ensure timely and successful completion of placement activities.
- Monitor and review the placement activities and suggest improvements as required.
- Manage the placement related queries from the students and employers.
- Provide guidance and support to the students during the placement process.
