Job Description – Placement Officer - ACE Engineering College

Position: Placement Officer Experience Required: 4 – 7 years (Industry/College/University placement background) Location: Ankushapur, Ghatkesar Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Placement Officer to lead and manage our placement activities. The Placement Officer will be responsible for building strong industry relations, coordinating with recruiters, preparing students for interviews, and ensuring successful placement outcomes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in placement roles either in the education sector(Edutech) or in Engineering Colleges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, HR professionals, and industry leaders to create placement opportunities.
  • Identify potential recruiters and conduct placement drives, campus recruitment programs, and job fairs.
  • Coordinate with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
  • Organize pre-placement training programs, mock interviews, aptitude tests, and soft-skills workshops.
  • Guide and mentor students in career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.
  • Track placement statistics, maintain records, and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Build and maintain alumni connections to support career development and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure internships, projects, and industry interactions for students are facilitated smoothly.
  • Collaborate with faculty and management to bridge the gap between curriculum and industry expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Management, HR, or related field.
  • 4 – 7 years of relevant experience in placement.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and recruiters across sectors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, placement management systems, and data reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve placement targets.

Salary: Based on the interview performance and also the norms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
