Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Plan Deployment Lead

As a Plan Deployment Lead, you will coordinate with planning, raw materials, warehousing and marketing to effectively deploy production schedules on packing machines. Provide administrative services to the production department by following up on key issues and providing timely & accurate reports, data to ensure effective communication with all key stakeholders of the factory.

Things you will be doing as a Plan Deployment Lead

• Responsible in conjunction with factory management to determine the factory's future installed/available capacity on all new installations/changes planned for each production area
• Owner of SAP capacity master data, ensuring accuracy to support production planning, resource allocation, and operational decisions
• Ensure manufacturing of high-quality products by meeting/exceeding quality targets in terms
• Coordinate and implement changes in MPS due to product design /material to ensure smooth operation
• The weekly production plan received from the supply chain is checked & converted into a workable production schedule utilizing a sequencing tool and ensuring minimum changeovers.
• Escalate information to Factory Management about any issue in production execution which may impact weekly planned volumes and, in conjunction with the supply chain, Production develop/propose solutions to manage the losses/ over-production
• Work with Production Departments and supply chain to improve the planning and scheduling execution to increase plan and schedule conformance.
• Work effectively with other team members to improve the overall manufacturing strategy. To roll out and communicate that aligned vision, so that their team is engaged and inspired (using the Line of Sight process)
• To champion the one business unit, ways of working and to provide leadership to the team and support the above-factory collaborative processes
• Support the implementation of changes to the production planning system, shared between the production team and factory, to obtain the best results.
• Focus on the key priorities of resource and process optimization appropriately
• Coordinate with the Factory Manager to ensure the on-time availability of RMs to execute the plan
• Play a pivotal role in resolving/co-coordinating various activities with other departments, especially Engineering, to facilitate smooth operations in production
• To develop an environment that seeks continuous improvement, from ideas that come from not only within the department but also from the rest of the factory and other SHAN locations
• Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness within the Production Scheduling process to remain competitive all the time

What are we looking for in you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of strong production and engineering experience in the Food or CPG/FMCG industries.
• Good operational & manufacturing understanding with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standard
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, and other related codes and regulations applying to the operation of a food products factory
