Planner / Planning Engineer

We Are Hiring – Planner / Planning Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Our consultancy firm is looking for a highly experienced Planner / Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate must have solid expertise in roads and infrastructure projects and proven experience with consultant/supervision companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update project baseline schedules in line with contract requirements.
• Monitor progress and highlight potential delays, risks, or bottlenecks.
• Review contractors’ schedules, method statements, and progress reports for compliance.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and propose mitigation measures.
• Integrate cost and resource loading into project schedules for effective control.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure accurate planning.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and recovery plans when necessary.
• Advise management and clients on planning-related issues and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in planning, including strong background in roads & infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience with a consultant / supervision company is a must.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and project controls methodology.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills (Dashboards, client presentations, etc.).
