Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating planning of materials required to manufacture and scheduling activities to support one or more product lines located in Warwick, Rhode Island (USA)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains production schedules and capacity plans to meet firm and forecasted orders, ensuring systems and databases are up to date.
  • Prepares and manages production documentation, including traveler issuance, job closures, and order tracking.
  • Plans and estimates material requirements, coordinating purchasing activities to support assigned product lines.
  • Analyzes and implements process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and production control efficiency.
  • Collaborates with customers to review and align on delivery schedules.
  • Recommends and executes improvements to planning and production control methods.
  • Updates purchasing and planning documentation as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with company and regulatory Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Monitors production progress to ensure orders meet required ship dates and avoid over- or under-shipment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English (B2+)
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials management, or manufacturing operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MRP systems.

  • Skilled in preparing and delivering presentations to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop sound solutions.

  • Tolerance for ambiguity
  • Ability to synthesize information
  • Knowledge in Theory of Constraints (TOC) and bottlenecks in production processes
  • Knowledge / experience in SIOP processes (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning — Demand Management, Supply Management)
