Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, baseline, and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Ensure alignment of schedules with project controls standards, procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project coding in coordination with cost control
  • Integrate schedule data with cost and progress measurement systems
  • Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, and identify schedule risks and opportunities
  • Monitor and update project progress based on inputs from engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Develop baseline schedules and control changes through formal change management processes
  • Prepare and maintain:
    • Weekly and monthly progress reports
    • Look-ahead schedules (2-week / 4-week)
    • S-curves and schedule performance indicators (SPI)
  • Support earned value management (EVM) implementation in coordination with cost engineers
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective and recovery actions
  • Participate in risk workshops and incorporate schedule contingencies into plans
  • Interface with project stakeholders to ensure accurate progress tracking and reporting
  • Support planning for shutdowns, turnarounds, and brownfield modifications
  • Ensure compliance with client (e.g., Saudi Aramco ) and company project control procedure

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related discipline)
  • Experienced in planning/scheduling within downstream oil & gas projects
  • Proven experience working within a Project Controls Department
  • Experience in GES+ / framework contracts and handling multiple work orders
  • Strong understanding of:
    • EPC project lifecycle
    • Project controls principles (planning, cost, progress, reporting)
