Position Title:
Planning Analyst / Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Analyst / Specialist to support strategic planning, performance monitoring, project coordination, and operational planning activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, experience working within government or public-sector environments, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Support strategic and operational planning initiatives across departments.

Develop planning reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking metrics.

Conduct data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning activities.

Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of planning objectives.

Prepare presentations, reports, and management updates for leadership review.

Monitor project timelines, risks, and planning deliverables.

Assist in policy, process improvement, and governance-related activities.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations.

Support planning workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Planning, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Planning Analyst, Planning Specialist, or similar role.

Mandatory local experience with government exposure.

Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.

Experience in strategic planning, project planning, or performance management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of planning tools, reporting systems, and dashboards is preferred.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Experience Required
-
3–5 years of experience for Planning Analyst / Specialist roles.

Experience in strategic planning, project planning, reporting, performance management, or operational planning.

Mandatory local experience with government exposure.

Experience working with government entities, semi-government organizations, or large enterprises is highly preferred.

Prior experience in PMO, planning coordination, KPI tracking, or transformation projects is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications

Relevant professional certifications are preferred.

Arabic Speaker is mandatory/preferred.

Experience working on government projects or within public-sector organizations.

PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certifications will be an advantage.
