Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is a practical position responsible for carrying out human resources operations and activities, and providing administrative and operational support to the human resources department through performing daily tasks related to organizing files, entering data, tracking appointments, and preparing documents. The role contributes to improving workflow efficiency and enhancing the quality of services provided to employees, within a work environment that respects and adapts to the employee's capabilities, and is suitable for persons with disabilities.
Responsibilities are not limited to:

Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules based on project requirements, objectives, and scope.

Utilize project management tools and software to create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity sequences.

Allocate resources, estimate durations, and establish milestones to ensure project progress aligns with the overall project schedule.

Review and assess contractors’ schedules to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Monitor resource allocation and reallocate as necessary to meet changing project needs.

Conduct regular meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes.

Analyze delays and their contractual impacts and develop methods to address and mitigate these delays.

Monitor project costs against budgets, identify cost variances, and propose corrective actions to maintain financial objectives.
-
Work closely with the project cost control team to integrate cost estimates and forecasts into the overall project plan.

Coordinate with different project teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of work processes and deliverables.

Conduct critical path analysis to identify the sequence of activities that directly impact project duration.

Optimize the critical path by managing and accelerating critical activities to meet project deadlines.

Collaborate with procurement teams to integrate procurement activities into the project schedule, aligning with delivery timelines and budget constraints.

Establish benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress and performance against industry standards and organizational goals.

Analyze and estimate potential risks in the project and develop strategies to deal with them.

Propose and implement improvements in planning and implementation processes to increase efficiency.

Provide weekly and monthly reports that include an analysis of the status of projects.

Study the impact of variation orders on the schedule.

Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the line manager within the scope of work.
Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's, Engineering, or Construction Management Degree

Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, which include cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis.

Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications. Proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications ( Primavera and Microsoft Office Applications, Power BI, for example).

Skilled in oral and written communication.

Knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller account codes, and an understanding of Controller instructions, which impact Projects Controls (including Project Financial Status Reports and Earned Revenue Determination Data).

Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.

Minimum of 6 years in the construction industry

Preferably Saudi National
-
PMP certification would be ideal
