Planning Engineer

• Develop and manage production and material plans in line with project requirements and delivery schedules.
• Create and maintain detailed job schedules, Gantt charts, and progress tracking reports.
• Monitor project execution, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure on-time availability of raw materials, forgings, and components.
• Coordinate with Engineering and QA/QC to ensure product compliance with API standards.
• Conduct capacity planning and resource loading based on project backlog and forecasts.
• Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate job routing, lead times, and progress updates.
• Prepare weekly/monthly production status reports and participate in project review meetings.
• Assist in audits and documentation related to planning, scheduling, and API compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning processes.

• 3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with equipment manufactured under API 6A, 16A, or 7-1 is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong skills in MS Project, Excel, and scheduling tools.
• Working knowledge of oil & gas fabrication and machining processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2 quality systems is a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering or related field.
