Exciting Opportunity for a Planning Engineer – Engineering Project Planning Careers

We are searching for a driven Planning Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about project scheduling, resource allocation, and supporting the timely, cost-effective delivery of high-profile engineering projects. Key Responsibilities – Planning, Scheduling, and Project Coordination

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-recognised software (Primavera P6/MS Project), supporting the management of high-rise building projects and complex engineering assignments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment of project milestones and resource allocation.
• Track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and highlight potential risks or delays to senior management.
• Contribute to risk analysis and mitigation strategies in coordination with project stakeholders and technical managers.
• Assist in the preparation of project baseline schedules, forecasts, and progress updates for client and management reporting.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, contributing insights on timelines, deliverables, and critical path activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality, health, safety, and environmental standards throughout planning processes.
  
  

What You Bring – Planning Engineering Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling in the engineering, construction, or consultancy sector (preferably involving high-rise or complex building projects).
• Strong user of project management software
• Familiarity with international engineering standards and project delivery best practices.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and levels of seniority.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
