JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Planning Engineer develops and manages detailed project schedules, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include creating project plans, monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating with stakeholders to provide updates and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Project planning: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules for all phases of a project, including work breakdown structures.
- Schedule management: Monitor project progress against the schedule, track milestones, and update the schedule as needed due to delays or changes.
- Resource allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure they are available when needed.
- Risk management: Identify potential risks and bottlenecks, analyze their potential impact, and propose mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports, cost reports, and dashboards for both internal management and external clients.
- Collaboration and communication: Work closely with project managers, team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and address issues proactively.
- Data analysis: Analyze project data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
Required skills and qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is typically required.
- Experience: Candidate must have 3-5 Years of Experience with Civil field .
- Technical skills:
- Proficiency in project management software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools for Gantt chart creation and Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis.
- Soft skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage comprehensive documentation.
- Decision-making skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
