Planning Engineer

Job Summary

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for construction and landscaping projects. The role ensures that all project activities are executed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and resources for construction and landscaping works.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to track daily progress.
• Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work execution as per drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing project planning documents, baseline schedules, and cash flow forecasts.
• Track landscaping-specific activities such as irrigation works, planting, softscaping, and hardscaping.
• Analyze variations and support in preparing claims or extension-of-time (EoT) documents.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, timelines, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction and landscaping projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
• Experience in landscaping activities (softscape, hardscape, irrigation).
• Good understanding of project drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
