Planning Engineer

Can you make data-driven planning decisions that keep projects on track?

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (4-year course).
• 5-10 years of planning experience with a main contractor, ideally supporting complex or fast-track projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6
• Experience in MS Project is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and schedule automation; Power BI experience is advantageous.
• Proven experience in preparing, coordinating, and analyzing master and micro schedules.
• Practical understanding of construction sequencing and site constraints.
• UAE project experience is highly preferred.
• Immediate availability is a plus.

• Develop and maintain baseline and detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Build WBS structures, activity coding, schedule logic, and resource-loading aligned with project execution.
• Update master and micro schedules based on verified site progress, constraints, and sequencing realities.
• Produce planning outputs including S-curves, manpower histograms, cash flows, and progress dashboards.
• Lead recovery planning, delay analysis, and lookahead schedule preparation to support project decisions.
• Automate reporting templates and dashboards using Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros) and Power BI for management visibility.
• Coordinate with site and project teams to capture constraints, delays, and mitigation actions.
• Analyze schedule data to provide actionable insights on sequencing, manpower allocation, and critical path risks.
