Planning Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer to join our Interior & Fit-Out team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and coordination to ensure timely execution of interior fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed project schedules for interior fit-out and joinery projects using project planning software.
• Develop baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), manpower histograms, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Monitor project progress and track milestones to ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, production, and subcontractors to align project schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead programs, delay analysis, and recovery plans.
• Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor procurement schedules and material delivery timelines to support uninterrupted project execution.
• Review project scope, BOQ, drawings, and specifications to establish project timelines and sequencing.
• Support tender planning by preparing preliminary schedules and project duration estimates.
• Conduct critical path analysis and productivity monitoring to ensure project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, project deadlines, and company standards.
• Attend project meetings and provide planning updates to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in interior fit-out, joinery, construction, or contracting companies, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong experience in high-end villas, commercial, retail, hospitality, and office fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycle, and fit-out sequencing.
• Experience in preparing project schedules, recovery programs, and progress reporting.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and fit-out approvals is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
