Planning engineer

Hiring: Planning Engineer (Qatar)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc / BEng / BA)
• UPDA Certification – Grade A (Mandatory)
• 15–20 years of relevant experience
• Must be currently available in Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, baseline programs, and work plans.
• Monitor project progress and identify delays, recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and project requirements for accurate planning.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
• Analyze risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate variation orders and claims related to time and cost.
• Support resource planning and allocation.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Attend meetings and track action items for timely completion.
