Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our Aluminum & Façade division. This role involves developing project schedules, preparing accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates, and supporting project controls for aluminum and façade works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent coordination skills to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports for façade and aluminum works.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and preparation of BOQs.
• Assist in tendering, pricing, and comparative cost analysis.
• Track and monitor project progress using Primavera or MS Project.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, certifications, and variation claims.
• Prepare cost reports, progress claims, and financial forecasts for internal and client reporting.
• Support project controls activities including budgeting, cash flow management, and performance tracking.
• Identify risks related to delays or cost overruns and recommend effective mitigation measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of UAE experience in Aluminum & Façade projects.
• Strong understanding of façade systems including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.
• Proficient in Primavera / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with UAE market pricing and commercial practices preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
