Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to support our Aluminum & Façade division. The role involves developing project schedules, conducting precise quantity take-offs, preparing cost estimates, and assisting in project controls for façade and aluminum works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and coordination skills, contributing to timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation plans.
• Track and monitor project progress using Primavera P6 or MS Project and prepare regular progress reports.

Quantity Surveying & Costing

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate BOQs for aluminum and façade systems.
• Assist in tendering, pricing, and comparative cost analysis.
• Review subcontractor quotations, material pricing, and commercial proposals.

Project Controls

• Prepare cost reports, progress claims, variation submissions, and financial forecasts.
• Support project control activities including budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and performance tracking.
• Identify risks related to delays, variations, and cost overruns, and propose suitable mitigation measures.

Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate closely with design, procurement, production, and site execution teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and material requirements for planning accuracy.
• Ensure all planning and QS documentation is prepared in line with project and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of UAE experience in Aluminum & Façade projects.
• Strong understanding of façade systems including curtain walls, structural glazing, ACP cladding, skylights, and other aluminum systems.
• Proficient in Primavera / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with UAE market pricing, commercial terms, and subcontracting practices (preferred).
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
