Job Title: Planning Engineer – Aluminum & Façade

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to support our façade and aluminum division. The role involves project planning and scheduling, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project controls to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of aluminum and façade projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and coordination skills within the UAE construction market.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation plans
• Monitor project progress using Primavera P6 or MS Project and prepare regular progress reports
• Analyze delays and propose recovery plans where required

Quantity Surveying & Costing

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs for aluminum and façade systems
• Assist in tender preparation, pricing, and comparative cost analysis
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, material pricing, and commercial proposals

Project Controls

• Prepare cost reports, progress claims, variation submissions, and financial forecasts
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and cost control activities
• Identify risks related to delays, variations, and cost overruns and recommend mitigation measures

Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and site teams to ensure alignment with project schedules
• Review drawings, specifications, and material requirements to ensure planning accuracy
• Ensure all planning and QS documentation complies with contractual and project requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
• 3–6 years of UAE experience in aluminum and façade projects
• Strong understanding of façade systems including curtain walls, structural glazing, ACP cladding, skylights, and other aluminum systems
• Proficient in Primavera P6 / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Familiarity with UAE market pricing, commercial terms, and subcontracting practices (preferred)
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
