Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our Aluminum & Façade division in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, preparing cost estimates, and performing quantity take-offs for façade and aluminum systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and specification-compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports for aluminum & façade works.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and BOQ preparation.
• Assist with tender preparation, pricing evaluations, and cost comparison analysis.
• Track and update project progress using planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure alignment throughout all project phases.
• Review subcontractor quotations, progress certifications, and variation claims.
• Prepare cost reports, progress claims, cash flow projections, and forecasts for management/client review.
• Support project control activities including budgeting, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Identify potential delays, risks, and cost overruns; recommend corrective and preventive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of UAE experience in Aluminum & Façade projects.
• Strong understanding of curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and façade systems.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of UAE market pricing is preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
