Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our Aluminum & Façade Division in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and quantity take-offs for façade and aluminum systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and close coordination with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, manpower plans, and resource loading for aluminum and façade works
• Track project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports

Quantity Surveying & Cost Control

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs for façade and aluminum systems
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports
• Review subcontractor quotations, variation claims, and progress certifications

Tender & Commercial Support

• Assist in tender preparation, pricing, cost comparison, and bid evaluations
• Support commercial negotiations and contract administration activities

Project Coordination & Control

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure project alignment
• Identify potential schedule delays, cost overruns, and project risks, proposing corrective actions
• Support project control activities including budgeting, planning, and performance monitoring

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
• 3–6 years of UAE experience in aluminum and façade projects
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, glazing, and façade systems
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of UAE market rates and suppliers is preferred
• Valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage
