Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Planning Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our Aluminum & Façade Division in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, quantity take-offs, and cost control for façade and aluminum systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and close coordination with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports for aluminum and façade works.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs.
• Support tender preparation, pricing, value engineering, and cost comparison analysis.
• Track and update project progress using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams to ensure schedule and cost alignment.
• Review subcontractor quotations, interim payment applications, final accounts, and variation claims.
• Prepare cost reports, progress claims, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Assist project managers in budget control, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Identify potential delays, risks, and cost overruns, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant UAE experience in aluminum and façade projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of curtain wall systems, cladding, glazing, and façade engineering.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
